As we edge towards the holiday season people often say "We are going to wait till after Christmas to list the house". Is this a good idea/ Can be, but not always.

The holidays can be a great time to attract motivated buyers. There are a few good reasons to be on the market now and over the holidays.

Less Competition-There are fewer homes to choose from. A highly motivated Buyer is more likely to consider your home if less distracted by a larger inventory.

More Time-Over the holidays many people are off work and may be spending more time on the computer searching listings, a very popular pastime for many.

Out-of-town visitors- Families are gathering and many new people may be in your area and considering a move to your town or area. They might start browsing the net.

Holly-day Decorations- Most homes are decorated for the season and show their best. Your home becomes more inviting and emotional at this time of year.

If you are close to putting your home on the market there is no sound reason to hesitate. Get on the market now! If you are not sure of the value of your home we would be happy to visit and prepare a Market Value Report.
